PLEASE NOTE!  Allowing someone you do not know and trust to remote control your computer can be very dangerous.  Hackers will often contact people and try to use similar tools to gain access to a computer,.  If this happens to you, they may try to scam you by charging large amounts for bogus services they claim are needed.   They may steal personal information that is stored on your computer.  They will often plant 'backdoors' on a system that can be used to access your computer anytime they wish.

NEVER allow anyone to remote control your computer, NO MATTER WHERE they claim to be from (Microsoft, etc.), unless you personally know and trust the person you are allowing to access your computer.

If you HAVE allowed someone to control your computer remotely that you did not know, you should have your computer checked as soon as possible!

A.C.T. occasionally offers this service to our customers if we believe it could offer our customers a quicker fix, or save them a trip into our office.  While this CAN be a very useful tool, please understand the risks before using it!
